Starting the 1st of April 2016, the government of Quebec will be accepting 50 applications under the Quebec Entrepreneur program. The program will stop accepting applications once the limit of 50 has been achieved. Please note that applicants who demonstrate an advanced-intermediate level of French language proficiency are not subject to this cap.
The Quebec Entrepreneur program allows individuals to obtain Canadian permanent residency and enjoy the benefits it offers.
Successful applicants benefit from the Quebec Entrepreneur program in multiple ways, such as being granted permanent residency along with their immediate family members (including dependent children under 19 years of age), allowing the family to share the same status. As a permanent resident, applicants have the right get hold of most social benefits that Canadian citizens receive, including health care coverage; live, work or study anywhere in Canada; apply for Canadian citizenship (if requirements are met); and are also granted protection under Canadian law and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
